Ripley Poremba is a 22-year-old illustrator and fiction writer who specializes in illustration, character design, and story development. In December 2023, they graduated from Bowling Green State University (BGSU), where they spent two and a half years finished their digital arts degree. While at BGSU, they devoted their time to building a network of friends and mentors and developing their abilities to illustrate, write, and think creatively. Now, they seek to build a career by telling stories (both their own and others’) and bringing them to life through art.
As a story and concept artist, Ripley has the most experience with illustration, creating concept art for characters, and enhancing and building a story from the ground up. This includes including promotional illustration and character design, blurb writing, outlining, editing, idea expansion, and endless brainstorming experience. They also have experience with comic development and illustration, and graduated with a minor in graphic novel development.
