Ripley Poremba is a 23-year-old visual artist and writer who specializes in illustration, character design, and story development. As a story and concept artist, Ripley has experience with illustration, creating concept art for characters, and building stories from the ground up. This includes character illustration and design, blurb writing, outlining, editing, and endless worldbuilding experience. They also have experience with comic development, and they occasionally dabble in animal portraiture.
In 2023, Ripley graduated from Bowling Green State University (BGSU) with a degree in Digital Arts. While at BGSU, they built a network of friends and mentors, and further developed their abilities to illustrate, write, and think creatively. Now, they seek to continue telling stories, bringing them to life using written and visual arts.
Ripley is currently pursuing a non-art career path after spending over a year looking for a job in their field. They are attempting to preserve their whimsy and their mental health by developing their work-life balance, so they can still make things they love while working a day job. They also run a Redbubble shop and a Patreon page, the links to which are located below.
